BPH
- Four Symptoms, Seven Natural Solutions
Did
you know that between the ages of 50 and 60, half
of all men have developed symptoms of an enlarged
prostate, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia,
or BPH? And by the time men reach the age of 70, eight
in 10, or 80 percent, will have symptoms. That's an
incredible number of men that are suffering with prostate
problems. In fact, billions of dollars are spent in
this country treating prostate disease.
How
do you know if you're one of these men? There are
four primary symptoms that you might experience: 1)
Slowing down of urination. In other words, it takes
longer to empty the bladder because the tube from
the bladder to the outside of the body runs through
the middle of the prostate. As the prostate enlarges,
it squeezes against this tube, slowing things down
and taking longer to empty the bladder; 2) It's difficult
to cut off the urinary stream and men start to notice
a dribbling problem; 3) It becomes difficult to start
urination; and 4) Men begin getting up several times
during the night, sometimes every 45 minutes, to urinate.
This, as you can imagine, is not only aggravating
and inconvenient it is devastating to a man's health
simply because he can't get any sleep.
